We collect personal information about you through the process of signing you on as a client. We may, on occasion, collect additional information from third parties including credit reference agencies.

 

We may collect additional personal information during the course of work-related activities throughout the period we are working with you on a contracted project or piece of work.

  • where we need to perform the contract we have entered into with you

  • where it is necessary for our legitimate interests or those of a third party and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests

  • making a decision about taking you on as a client

  • determining the terms on which we work for you

  • administering the contract we have entered into with you

  • business management and planning, including accounting and auditing

  • dealing with possible legal disputes involving yourself or your business

  • to prevent fraud

  • to conduct data analytics studies to review and better understand our clients

  • some of the above grounds for processing will overlap and there may be several grounds that justify our use of your personal information

We may share your personal information with third parties if required by law or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.

 

Recipients of your data may include credit reference agencies where applicable for entering into a contract with your business.

  • you also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes.

 
If you believe we have not complied with your rights, you can complain to the Information Commissioner.

 

What if you do not provide personal data?

 

If you do not provide personal data, it is likely to be impossible for Thistle Labs Ltd to enter into, or to continue with, an consultancy contract with you.


Changes to this privacy notice


Thistle Labs Ltd reserves the right to update this privacy notice at any time, and we will provide you with a new privacy notice when we make any substantial updates. We may also notify you by alternative means, periodically, about the processing of your personal information.

 

Agreement

By entering into a contract with Thistle Labs Ltd, you are agreeing to us holding your personal data as set out by the details in this privacy notice.
